The story of the SABL:
A group of average guys who played average basketball together each week wanted to play competitively but could never find a quality adult basketball league in Austin. They paid a lot of money to be in leagues where many times the refs or the opposing team wouldn't show. And there were even a few instances where a disagreement on the court could have led to trouble in the parking lot afterward. So rather than complaining about finding the perfect Austin basketball league, we created it! As the saying goes, "necessity is the mother of invention."....The SOUTH AUSTIN Basketball league.
League Dates: Wednesdays, Aug. 4-Sept 22, 7-9pm
Location: Austin Sports Center, 425 Woodward
Who: Men ages 21 and older. 6-6 and under
League Fee: $350 per team (10 player max. per team). $50 for individuals
